This is my favorite restaurant in the entire Prescott Valley area! I spend way too much money here. It doesn't help that I live right down the street! I LOVE the Massman Curry with the chicken. The pineapple fried rice is superb and the coconut ice cream will leave you melting! Literally everything I have tried on the menu is delicious. I eat here once a week. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and clean. VERY good "hole in the wall" place! You definitely get a lot for your money here! I get at least 2 meals out of one entree purchase, many times 2 dinners and a lunch! For only around $11-$15 and you get at least 2 meals? AMAZING!

Really nice small place. Good smells. Ordered spicy basil chicken. The sauce was light but very good. All the ingredients were very fresh. The chicken was nice white meat. Not very spicy though. Wife ordered tofu pad se ew. It was very good. Though a star was knocked off due to price vs portion. The dinner entrees start at 11$. The portion was ok but not at a 11$ level.

Amazing Thai, haven't had authentic Thai food sense I've been out here. We had the pad Thai, green curry, and orange chicken. Everything was fresh and flavorful, you can tell it is all made from scratch with quality and care. We will be returning again can't wait to try all the dishes!

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT after reading other reviews! Nothing but a bad take out place. Food was tasteless & not even warm. The 2 different dishes looked & tasted the same: brown gravy; barely cooked veggies; jasmine rice + tea had a tiny hint of jasmine. Not friendly & no apology when after the fact we told them food was cold. Suggest YELP TAKE IT OFF their list! As I have high opinions of yr recommendations.

Amazing little place. Get there early for a seat or just take it out. I wish I lived closer to this gem. The coconut soup hits your tastebuds in a superb way. I don't know a lot about Thai food so I went with the pad Thai to be safe. I enjoyed every bite. I'm going back to try other menu items. The staff was friendly and we never felt neglected. This is a must try. Can't wait to go back.

Yummy food, friendly and accomodating service, nice price-to-portion ratio - plus, they didn't accidentally put meat in the vegetarian entrees or leave it out on the meat entrees. All in all, a great experience. Watch out: their mild is pretty spicy! Try asking for absolutely no spice whatsoever if you really want mild food. The Thai coffee and Thai iced tea got rave reviews from my dining companions, as did the (spicy!) yellow curry with chicken and the vegetable fried rice. I liked the pad thai - not the best ever, but tasty and nourishing. I recommend asking for extra broccolli - it seems short on that and super heavy on carrots. The place is tiny and cute, with lots of authentic Vietnamese touches.

Great little find, thank you Yelp!! Clean place, quick service and really good food. I will most definitely stop back for lunch or dinner when I'm in Prescott.

They have good food. But their service and listening skills leave much to be desired. If your chill with ordering food and expecting one thing and getting home and receiving another this is the place for you. I would very clearly enunciate what you want or expect to have your food so hot you can't eat it.

Always 5 stars when we come here. So good and the owner is a really nice guy! Love locally owned businesses and this one will not disappoint you

I love the food! I am writing this update because they seem to never get our order right. Their spicy scale is 1-5, five being fire. We ask for a 1 and get a 4, I ask for a 4 and get no spice. I wish they could create some consistency because when it's right, it's out of this world.

Well! What can I say? So good, so clean, so reasonable! Go! Really, go!

When Toi is working its a great place. The guy that is there today is terrible. No customer service and just shy of rude. Garlic beef didn't taste like beef and was so tough I couldn't chew it. Husband liked his yellow curry.

What an unexpected surprise to come across such a tasty treat. We have been traveling across the southwest and loving the Mexican food and burgers, not expecting an awesome Thai restaurant. Pad Thai and green curry rocked it?

Authentic and delicious Thai Food! Extremely satisfied! My husband had the Red Curry pan nang with tofu and I had the shrimp pad Thai. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect service, delicious food and the best Thai tea ever. What more needs to be said? Everything has been great! Chicken satay and a curry are the bee's knees!

  • John P.

Excellent food! Tons of regulars eating in or picking up which is always a good sign, and Toi greeted most of them by name. In addition Toi was working the phones, register and tables (it's a small place) and still gave great service with a big smile and plentiful thanks for each and every customer. We will definitely be back!

Ok. I received some excellent advise from Johnathon Conant ....... We Tried an appetizer of chicken kabobs, a lap kai salad, yellow curry spicy chicken and pad thai chicken. Amazing Meal. Truly Amazing.

I've been to quite a few American Thai Restaurants since my first experience with Thai food in Thailand in 1994. As far as American experiences go, Toi's Thai is in my top 3! The only 1, thus far, in Arizona. And in Prescott Valley, no less. Service was pretty good for a one man show on a busy Saturday night (we never did get our Thai iced teas). But, the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The server brought out extra crushed red pepper, so I could spice my food up more (I was eating with my wife & children). We loved the coconut soup & the red chicken curry. My kids, usually, won't eat Thai. But, they ate everything here! Give Toi's Thai Kitchen a try.

Tried this place based on the good reviews and it lived up to them! I had the pad Thai with Thai iced coffee (warning: pretty sweet) and my boyfriend had the yellow curry chicken... both of which were delicious. We left lunch fed and full at about $20! Such a great find this little spot is.

I *LOVE* Thai food and know what's good. This food is AWESOME! It's a TINY little place with very limited seating, but I don't expect that to last long. Once the word gets out, Toi is going to need contact bigger location! It is a bit cramped and noisy. I dined with a first-time Thai food eater who also is allergic to coconut so I did my best to guide his decisions. We started with Thai toast and mee grob and both were excellent! I had my standard pad Thai and my partner got sweet and sour chicken. The portions are huge. Plenty to share or to take home leftovers. We ended with mango sticky rice and that had coconut so I gobbled that right up myself! We had Thai tea forgetting that it contains coconut but it was very good as well. I was so impressed with the energy of the owner. Very good vibes. He does everything but looks like maybe wife or mom cooks? Busser was very friendly too. A real mom and pop operstion. Also the kitchen is visible and clean. I was impressed with the freshness of all the veggies! Nothing was greasy. Before tip we got out of there for about $38.00. We WILL be regulars! You can request meat in dishes on menu that don't mention meat (i.e., I ordered chicken pad Thai) AND you just tell Toi what level of spicy you like, rating 1 through 5. Great experience. I hope the community supports this place. It's behind Robert's Market and doesn't jump up snd scream HERE I AM THE THAI RESTAURANT! But we found it so easily using GPS. GIVE IT A TRY. They also have a takeout menu and seemed to do a lot of biz that way too. Enjoy!

Such a charming place. Seven tables. So it's a small place. However arrive with a BIG appetite! We tried the panang pork curry with pad Thai noodles. It was addictively DELICIOUS. A perfect blend of heat and flavor. We also had the pad voon sen with chicken. It was equally yummy! And it's cool cilantro flavor offset the heat of the curry in a wonderful way. Next time we're in Prescott Valley we'll be back!!

I have a new favorite Thai restaurant. My meal was fantastic. The green curry was delicious. My spring rolls were tasty. I cannot wait to come back and try other items.

I just moved in right down the street and tried this place for the first time! Great food! I had the red curry, great flavor! Quick service! I will definitely be back to try more!

I ordered the yellow curry #35 and it had an amazing bold spicy and creamy flavor! I highly recommend eating here regularly!

The food is great. The portions are small. I wished they give larger portions for the price.

On our dating honeymoon, my boyfriend and I decided to go to get Thai for our second night in Prescott Valley. In fact, it's our second night in a row eating Thai up here. Who knew there would be multiple Thai places in a small town? Toi's food was uh-mazing. I had the pineapple curry with shrimp. Usually, I stick to chopsticks an entire meal, no matter if it's soup or not. This was one soup I used the spoon for because I wanted to drink up every drip. The portions were pretty big, so I have as much to eat later tonight as I did in the restaurant. By the way, there are only about 8 tables in this place. It's small, but cute. My boyfriend had Pad Thai. He normally doesn't like peanuts (I know - what a weirdo!) but these weren't overpowering to him. The Thai iced tea was good, too. Service was super friendly, but we were the only ones there. (We went at 3:30 because, well, that's when we were hungry.) They serve on Fiestaware plates, which I thought was pretty cool. I told my boyfriend that I will be: 1. Thinking of this dish when we are back in Phoenix; 2. Eating the rest of it in about an hour, instead of waiting until later tonight.

Best Thai restaurant of many that I have been too. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared, large portions and reasonably priced. It is small but feels homey and the service is excellent. We have eaten here numerous times and have always been very pleased with the experience. BTW, clean bathrooms (I always look).

A little hole in the wall. Perfect for Guy Fieri to check out at Diner's, Drive Ins & Dives. They seem cater to their take out business for the most part. Only 6 tables inside. We are talking small! Very clean though. And the server was very friendly. Try the Mee Grob appetizer. Tastes like Rice Krispie treats! Also can recommend the Phad Thai. It was very good! Highly recommend! The noodles were sweet and delicious. My wife tried the Yellow Curry. It looked like a Chicken Pot Pie deconstructed into a soup. Delicious as well! For dessert we had the Coconut Thai ice cream. It was so-so. I think I will try something different next time because we DEFINITELY will be coming back! Pretty tasty for a dive!

Super friendly staff, accessible location, great food. My boyfriend said their pad thai has been one of the best he's had, and we've eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants. No complaints with this place. They didn't even make us feel unwelcome when we walked in 30 minutes before they closed. They were just as warm and attentive and we never felt rushed. We'll travel all the way from Prescott just to have their food.

Tried the mussaman curry and was disappointed . Instead of chunks of stewed beef it was thin slices of steak jus added to a premade curry sauce . Everything else was good but this dish needs to be taken off the menu . I asked the owner why it was made this way and she said it was for the cooks convenience, not the answer I was expecting

The atmosphere is clean and simple. Service is polite attentive but weak in knowledge of food and preparation. The food we had was the fresh rolls, Tom yum seafood soup and tamarind duck. The fresh rolls were excellent and the dip rind sauce was superb. Great starter. The tom yum seafood soup base or broth was very rich and full of well developed flavors. Better than other local Thai restaurants. The fresh pieces of fish and vegetables were also excellent. The down side was they use the cheapest bag of frozen spiral cut calamari or squid, mussels and small scallops or punched skate wings. This particular seafood is freezer burned with little to no taste. It provides variety of items but all have less than disentangle taste and flavor. They need to put netter quality items in, even if it is fewer it would really make this dish better without raising the cost. The tamarind duck had good flavors and nice crispy ness. However the meat was shredded and very dry. The sauce was way too sweet for my pallet. I will return but will stay away from seafood and deep fried shredded duck. Duck curry sounds better. Until next time.

We were looking for a good Thai restaurant on our trip to Prescott yesterday. We have been missing good Thai food since we moved from Seattle. We looked at the reviews on Yelp and decided to try this place even though it's a bit off our usual path through the Valley. It was definitely worth the drive! The food was great and the service was good. The waitress (who I think is the owner) was very friendly and helpful. As others have said, it's a small place so I imagine they can get busy at some times of the day. We will definitely be back!

  • Liz M.

This place is a favorite of mine. The Pad Thai is usually very good, sometimes they seem to have a on off day but for the most part I am a happy customer. The curries are also very good.

  • Luke T.

Excellent little hole in the wall! It's now my wife and I'd go to for Thai food in the tri-city area. Understand, however, that their dining room is tiny, so be prepared to wait for a seat, or simply order out.

  • Veronica C.

I am a regular at this place :) I get the vegetable medley with no meat (I'm a vegetarian) every time, and it's my favorite vegetarian meal in all of Prescott/Prescott Valley! The flavor is soooo good. I bet everything else is just as good. The only thing I wish they'd change is that I pay the same price for it without meat as I would if I got chicken in it. $12 is a bit much for sautéed vegetables, don't you think? But thanks guys. You're all very friendly.

Very clean & great food, wait staff very nice too! This is the best we have found in the Prescott area since moving here 2 years ago. Try it, worth it!

Oh so good!!! Found it on Yelp! and decided to check it out while I was in town. Ate the pot stickers, chicken satay, yellow curry with shrimp (had her kick it way up), and the pineapple fried rice. This was split between 2 adults and 2 children. Everything was fantastic, the curry though...I am salivating as I am typing this. My husband is not a fan of curry dishes and I though I was going to have to fight him for the rest of it. The restaurant is very small. The kids with inhaled the food, except for the curry. That was a little to spicy for them and they frequently add hot sauce to things and love chilies (yay for adventurous eaters!). I'm not sure if there is a kids menu since we make ours order non-"yummy" food. I still would have preferred it a little spicier though. The only bummer is the check was brought before we were offered dessert. If there weren't so many places to explore before we head out I would eat here again.

This tiny place is a jewel. The orange chicken was the best I've ever tasted in my life. The Tom Kah and chicken satay were wonderful as well. The service was great.

I really like this place. Not only is the food delicious, the people are so kind. I have eaten in with friends, and I have ordered and picked up take out. The food is always wonderful, the service is outstanding, and its so close to home. I just love it

The place is no bigger than my garage but serves up some flavorful Thai cuisine. I have eaten here three times and have never left disappointed. The great combination of friendly service and delicious food makes this place a winner. Comparable to Tara Thai, possibly even better! I love the green curry w/ anything.

Must say I was so lucky to come across this place in my travels. Food was out Of this world ( pad kee Moa) and the service was great warm and friendly. Overall can't wait to come back through this part of town

We've eaten here twice, both times we've enjoyed it. My FIlipina wife has been to Thailand, so she has a good grasp on what good Thai food tastes like and she loves the place. The place is small with only about 8 tables or so and the decor/ambiance is nothing special--kind of a hole-in-the-wall. But GREAT food! Try the Pad Thai or the red curry, both are excellent. Heat scale runs from 1 to 5 with 1 being not hot at all and 5 being not being hot enough for me, a lover of spicy food. I ask for a 7, what they call "Thai hot."

    (5)
  • Amy B.

This place is a tiny hidden treat. The food was excellent. They give you a choice of heat 1-5. Most places I go for a 4 or 5, but at Toi's I'm a 2 or 3 on daring days.

  • Steve M.

Try the pa-nang! This isn't the Toi in Hollywood but for Prescott AZ its pretty good. The staff is great the food is good and the atmosphere is really nice. my only gripe is no refills on sodas, they bring it to you in a can, witch isn't that unusual for an Thai place so whatever. you might want to think about skipping a coke and just going with a Thai iced tea. One really nice thing is that the staff is super friendly and attentive. I'll be back whenever I go to Prescott.

I cannot believe that I'm the first person to review this amazing new Thai place in Prescott Valley. I've been to both Tara Thai and the Thai House and Toi's eclipses them both by miles. My husband and I came in at about 15 minutes before they closed before dinner. (Hours: 11-3, 5-9 Closed Mondays) There was no problem, no rush, like you might find with other places. Service was great but you could tell they were trying to find their stride with the new restaurant. We started with the potsticker appetizer. The potstickers were about what you would expect but the sauce that came with it was sublime. A great subtle mix of soy sauce, ginger, scallions. I wanted to drink it with a straw. Next came out salads. Often times with Thai food, the peanut sauce tastes like microwaved peanut butter. Not at Toi's. Again, subtle flavors of peanuts, ginger, and something else I could not place. It was heavenly. My husband got the Panag Curry with pork and I had the Red Curry with chicken. We both got a level 2, just to try it. The level 2 at Toi's was perfect. Just enough heat to make your nose run at the end but not enough to overwhelm the flavors. My curry was wonderful, loaded with veggies and big pieces of chicken. It was coconuty and delicious. My husband raved about his curry. We had the hot Thai tea with it and it only enhanced and complimented the flavors. We had the coconut ice cream for dessert, which was the only thing that the staff did not make. We could see the chef in the back scooping it from an ice cream barrel. It wasn't the best coconut ice cream I ever had but not the worst. I will try the mango sticky rice next time. Including tip for appetizer, two lunch entrees, tea, and dessert it was forty dollars. You cannot beat that! I have a feeling they will be seeing a lot of business!

Went for lunch. Excellent Thai food. Had the yellow curry with chicken and it was delicious. Wife had the pad Thai and that was good too. Can't wait to get back there to try something else.

Nothing short of fantastic...quaint, excellent service, GREAT food....the chicken satay appetizer was a meal unto itself; the pad thai was the best I've ever had.

Everything on the menu is delicious!! I've been coming here since they opened and tried something new each time. Everything has been a delightful success. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, the service friendly and fast. I especially love the coconut soup, yellow curry w/ chicken and the Thai iced tea. The peanut salad dressing is another home run. I live in the northern part of Prescott Valley, and am thrilled to have the best restaurant in town practically on my doorstep!

I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Thai food. 5 star rating in my book because everything I've ordered was delicious! Be sure to order a Thai iced tea, too! Will be back again!
